was a game that we were able to play thanks to
God, the Panamanians tried to give their best,
they were well defended and we managed to play
our game and play more concentrated. Today there
were several changes in the team, but everything
went well and we are all ready to go play in the
next games”.
Andrés Carvajal, coach of Costa Rica: "We are
happy with the result, it was what we were
looking for and needed, we were also able to
give other players more participation to
regulate the team and that they are all in their
best physical shape for the following matches".
Added Carvajal: "We have had an important set
load and fatigue could already begin to make a
presence in the last few days and that is why it
is good to regulate the team, take the
competition calmly and enter the final stretch
with force."
