ups and downs “we weren’t able to be consistent; we missed
valuable opportunities to score more while Costa Rica played
strongly. Tomorrow we’ll give everything we got”.
Coach Horacio Bastit expressed “the group has traced an
objective and today they played tactically as expected; we are
still in the process of learning to be disciplined in our game
plan. We knew how Honduras performed and we were determined not
to allow them do what they do well. Today our attacks were
better than yesterday and maybe that’s why we seemed more
comfortable”.
“I dream with what is possible, Costa Rica has better condition
than us and in my opinion they have what it takes to win the
title” indicated coach Marco Tejada. “We committed many unforced
errors and Costa Rica didn’t let us perform, in consequence our
players we left without resources to solve and one of our best
players was totally annulled by our opponents. In general the
result isn’t bad, I thought it could have gone better but this
isn’t over”. |
