Guatemala during the Pan American Cup, and we
knew their game level. We played at our rhythm
and came out with a good result”.
Luis Fernando Castañeda, head coach of
Guatemala:
“Costa Rica is an experienced team, they are
good, and they complement each other well,
everybody defends and attacks. We attacked
strongly, but Costa Rica defended a lot. We will
try to win our next three matches and see if
there’s a chance to win a medal. This was an
important game to get in the competition, after
yesterday’s loss against Belize, who by the way
is nice to see their level of play”. |
