Coach of Costa Rica: “We
have been preparing game by game, we knew we had to take
Honduras out of the game because they are the champions, now
Belize plays and nothing has been won until the last game
arrives. We have prepared well, Honduras likewise ... here
you have to come and play with everything, both teams have
high players, the battle at the net was very good, it was a
great game”.
Caterine Leiva, coach of
Honduras: “A good game was made, the first set was played
well, the serve strategy worked up to a certain point… we
kept fighting, we can't put down our arms and continue
fighting. We are satisfied, a volleyball show was seen, the
players from both sides made their best effort, attacked and
defended well, in these categories it is difficult to see
this kind of performance, which means that Central American
volleyball is growing”.
Honduras will play with
Guatemala at 5:00 p.m. while Costa Rica will face Belize at
7:00 p.m.
