Gilberth Solano, top scorer of Costa Rica: “Our teamwork was impressive, this team is very united and everyone added their part for the win. The confidence the team puts in me is very important. I am here to focus on teamwork, I represent Costa Rica, to score for my team and reach our goal”.

Johan Morales, Head coach of Costa Rica: “We respect all our opponents; things worked well for us today. I believe our tactic in service worked out well, we had a positive blocking and that forced Honduras to commit more errors. There are things to improve, we can’t be too confident because all our opponents are strong, not every game is the same and we must keep focused”.

Luis Membreño, captain of Honduras: “We perform with different rhythms, sometimes faster and others not so much, we are down by eight points and then it’s too late to recover; it’s not an excuse, but this is what happens when you lack activity. Costa Rica is doing really well”.
