Criollas de Caguas, Cangrejeras de Santurce and

Pinkin de Corozal dominate Friday action in LVSF

CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, February 13, 2026. – Friday’s slate in the Women’s Volleyball Superior League (LVSF) saw the Criollas de Caguas, Cangrejeras de Santurce and Pinkin de Corozal emerge victorious against their respective opponents.

Criollas return to winning ways

At the Coliseo Roger Mendoza, Caguas returned to the win column after dropping their previous three matches, defeating the Leonas de Ponce in four sets (18-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23) and collecting the full three available points.

It marked the third time this season Caguas has defeated Ponce, all victories coming in four sets.

Holding a 2-1 set advantage, Caguas took control of the fourth set by leading 16-14 at the second technical timeout with a cross-court attack from captain Génesis Collazo at position two. They extended the margin to 18-14 with consecutive kills from Jenaisya Moore (outside) and Alba Hernández (middle) and never looked back.

The Criollas reached set point at 24-21 after an attacking error by Stephanie Enright and closed the match 25-23 with another Moore kill from the left side.

Caguas’ offense was led by Jenaisya Moore (20 points), Génesis Collazo (18) and Ana Sofía Jusino (11). For Ponce, Jordan Wilson topped scorers with 24 points, all on kills.

Caguas dominated in blocks (8-2) and aces (5-4). Ponce led in kills (62-53), digs (96-86), receptions (46-38) and assists (16-9).

Cangrejeras remain unbeaten atop the standings

At the Coliseo Roberto Clemente, Santurce continued its strong run with a 3-1 win (22-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-21) over the Valencianas de Juncos.

It was their second meeting this season, with Santurce winning both; the first came in straight sets.

Santurce claimed all three points to stay undefeated after eight matches, totaling 22 points and maintaining the league lead.

Top scorers for the winners were Andrea Rangel (23), Tamara Otene (19), Helena Grozer (15) and Kara McGhee (13). For Juncos (3-8, 9 points), Haley Bush led with 28, followed by Leandra Mangual (16), Naya Gross (10) and Marcelle Báez (10).

Pinkin defend home court against Atenienses

At the historic court Carmen Z. Figueroa, Corozal defeated the Atenienses de Manatí 20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.

Corozal secured the three points to remain comfortably in third place with a 6-4 record and 18 total points.

Manatí earned no points and stays fourth at 3-7 with 12 points.

Double-digit scorers for the Pinkin included Jordan Iliff (17), Adriana Rodríguez (15), Ivania Ortiz (14) and Daly Santana (14). For Manatí, Emily Elliott scored 22, Karla Santos 20 and Jomailee Reyes 10.
