Julio Gómez, captain of Cuba:
It was an important match for us since it was the first and we did what
we were expecting against Colombia, which was to obtain the victory
since the last time we faced them we suffered a loss and thanks to that
today things went well for us, and we were able to go out with a 3-0
lead.
Leandro Mejía, captain of Colombia:
We knew that Cuba was a very strong opponent, they are very physical,
that is why it was very difficult for us to serve them since they come
out very hard, we do not come with a good rhythm of play, which is one
of the things that we must fix in the future. |
