Cuba falls to the Netherlands at Volleyball Nations League

OTTAWA, Canada, June 8, 2023.- The Netherlands served Cuba their second consecutive loss at the Volleyball Nations League 3-0 (28-26, 25-23, 25-18) on Thursday in Ottawa, Canada.

Cuba had opposite Jesús Herrera as their main scorer with 12 points, followed by middle blocker José Masso and outside hitter Miguel Ángel López, who produced ten each.

The Netherlands led in attacks (42-34), in blocks (6-5) and committed 25 errors against 29 from Cuba who led in aces (3-1).

Cuba will face the top world champions Italy on Friday.
