take the bronze in the NORCECA Pan American Cup Final Six.

Laura Suarez and Ivy Vila with 11 points each. For Mexico, the top
scorer was Grecia Castro with 22 points followed by Karen Rivera with
14.
Cuba outscored Mexico in spikes 49-42 and in blocks 15-4.
Gretell Moreno, captain of Cuba:
It was a very difficult game, Mexico went out on the court to give it
their all, I think they studied the first clash they had with us well
and were able to come up with a tactic that cost us work at the
beginning of the game but in general it was a good game where both
teams won in development, which in the end was what we came to this
competition for.
Joseline Landeros, captain of Mexico:
We knew it was going to be a difficult match, we started well
following the instructions and with a positive attitude and the cause
of the result we had was not being able to close the sets.
