Development Center in DR involves in social work

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 28, 2017 – The NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Volleyball Center in Dominican Republic held a day of dental service on June 25 as part of the social activities on the occasion of its twentieth anniversary.

The community activity benefitted the athletes, coaches, managers of Dominican male and female teams, staffers of Dominican Volleyball Federation, NORCECA Confederation as well as kids from leagues and clubs of Santo Domingo

The dental service was supported by the odontology school of University Federico Henriquez y Carvajal (UFHEC)

Nelson Ramirez, director of the center said it was of great satisfaction to involve the center in this kind of social work together with the volleyball international and national courses at all levels. He also thanked the authorities of UFEHC, professors and senior students for their collaboration.

Ramirez also announced that the U23 national team of Haiti will establish a training base in the center as part of its preparation for the Caribbean Zonal Tournament and will play several matches in different towns of the Dominican Republic.
