Dominica, Saint Kitts, Saint Lucia, Sint Maarten Men Advance to Semifinals of ECVA Beach Volleyball Championship

 CUL-DE-SAC, Saint Lucia, May 2, 2026. – Teams from Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Sint Maarten have secured their places in the men’s semifinals of the ECVA Beach Volleyball Championship currently being held in Saint Lucia.

Dominica’s pair of Yahn Florent and Mervin Mingo advanced with a 2–0 (21–15, 21–14) victory over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ Ronaldo Franklyn and Jamaar Cropper. Saint Kitts and Nevis’ duo of Julian Bristol and Elkreen Morton also moved on to the semifinals, defeating Bermuda’s Benjamin Barnette and Sean Tucker 2–0 (21–17, 21–17). Both teams will feature in Sunday’s semifinal action.

Meanwhile, defending champions Joseph Clercent and Sheldon Descartes (LCA 1) of Saint Lucia overpowered their compatriots Diallo Albert and Levi Leonce (LCA 3) 2–0 (27–17, 21–9). They will face Sint Maarten’s Shreefkerk Jacob and Rajheem Meulens in the other semifinal.

The Sint Maarten pair earned their spot with a convincing 2–0 (21–15, 21–13) win over Dominica’s Tahj Jno Jules and J’den Robinson.
