Dominican President expresses satisfaction for victory
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 20, 2016 – The President
the Dominican Republic expressed satisfaction for the gold medal
obtained by the women’s volleyball national team at the FIVB
World Grand Prix in Bulgaria on Sunday.
“Thanks for proving new joy to the Dominican people who follow
with interest the performances of the team,” said Dominican
Republic President Danilo Medina in a congratulation message to
the Women’s National Volleyball Team.
In a letter to Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of the Women’s
Program of Dominican Republic Volleyball Teams, the chief of
state expressed his congratulations for the triumph at the
Finals of the 2016 World Grand Prix Group 2 held in Bulgaria
where they won the gold medal.
“I want by your means to salute and congratulate each one of the
girls, on behalf of the government and personally, for the
outstanding effort displayed while obtaining seven consecutive
victories in that competition,” President Danilo Medina stated.
President Medina also sent a special congratulation to the
player Brayelin Martinez for standing out as the top scorer of
the Dominican team. |
