Wagner Pacheco, head coach of Dominican
Republic:
“My general opinión of the event is that today
we played calmly, yesterday we had a good match,
it wasn’t what we expected because we wanted a
medal; we accept the results because we know we
had a really bad performance against Peru and we
paid the price”.
Luis León, head coach of Mexico:
“This wasn’t what we were aiming for. Yesterday
our captain Gracias had a small injury and we
didn’t want to risk her today. Generally
speaking I leave with a good feeling about my
teams’ performance; we know we must work, mostly
in key points in the end which made a difference
in the matches we lost in five sets to advance”. |
