Henry Tapia, Captain of Dominican Republic: “We
were more relaxed today, it was an easy game. We
will play for fifth place, which wasn’t our goal
but we hope in the next opportunity to finish
among the top three places. Trinidad and Tobago
was not much of a challenge for us today”.
Dante Mañon, Coach of Dominican Republic: “I had
the opportunity to use bench players because
this wasn’t too much of challenge. Trinidad and
Tobago plays with a high ball and we on the
sides, and that’s not hard for us to control”.
Gideon Dixon, Coach of Trinidad and Tobago: “I
feel we could have measured the opposing team
but because we don’t play at this level often we
ran out of endurance at the end of the game.
More competition at this level will help us
improve. Hopefully next time it will be
different; we have improved with each
performance, we won in small things, we need to
win bigger”. |
