Lodz, Poland, October 7, 2022.- After losing the
first set, the Dominican team was able to
recover to beat Germany and thus achieve its
first victory in phase 2 of the Women's
Volleyball World Championship.
The victory of Las Reinas del Caribe was with a
score of 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-18),
surpassing the Germans in the lines of attacks
(56-47), blocks (8 -7), while in services they
were equal to 4.
Brayelin Martinez stood out for Las Reinas with
28 points and Gaila Gonzalez who added 17, while
for Germany Hanna Orthmann had 16 points and her
partner Marie Scholzel added another 11.
The Dominican Republic's next game will be on
October 8 against the Canadian team. |
