Martinez, Yonkaira Peña and Gaila González
formed an attacking trio that gave the Dominican
Republic a 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-21)
victory over Thailand in the Nations League FIVB
Women's Volleyball.
Martínez and Peña each contributed 19 points and
González came close with 18 for the Dominican
squad's fourth win against 6 losses. Jineiry
Martínez added 14 points. Pimpichaya Kokram led
Thailand with 30 points and Ajcharaporn Kongyot
had 15 in the loss.
The Dominican Republic concludes its
participation in the preliminary phase playing
Friday and Saturday against China and Poland,
respectively. |
