Brittany Abercrombie and Karina Ocasio were the
best for Puerto Rico each with 9 points.
Marcos Kwiek, coach of
Dominican Republic: We
know that this tournament is a tournament where
there is obviously a quota for the Pan American
Games, we are already classified, we have just
come from a tournament and I am trying to give
the girls rest to give the newest ones
experience and it is preparation for what comes
this year which is the World Championship. The
most important thing was that they were able to
play a good game and very well fought.
Fernando Morales,
coach of Puerto Rico: We
knew that we were coming against a world-class
team that has been training together for a long
time and very few of us have already had high-level
matches this summer, today things did not go as
we wanted but this match prepares us well for
the level we want to reach to try to do my best
in the World Cup.
