Wagner Pacheco, coach of Dominican Republic: “It was a good start for us but the tournament is just beginning for us. Many of our younger girls had chances to play. We need to keep working to get the ticket to the world championship”.

Costa Rica Head Coach Kareem Richards: “We knew it was going to be a complicated start. It’s the first tournament for these girls. Our goal is to gain experience. As I said before you learn more from the losses than the victories. We’ll continue representing our country with pride trying to do the things better with each day.”
