RIMINI, Italy, May 26, 2021 – Andrea Drews poured
20 points as United States defeated Canada 3-0
(26-24, 25-15, 25-10) in the second day of
actions at the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations
League on Wednesday.
It was the second 3-0 victory for the American
side that one day earlier had defeated Dominican
Republic, the third NORCECA team in the
competition.
Kathryn Plummer and Sarah Wilhite each had 11
points in the winning cause while Tetori Dixon
and Hannah Tapp each contributed 7 tallies.
Setter Lauren Carlini added six in the victory.
For Canada, Kiera Van Ryk registered 13 points
as the only player on the losing side who
reached double figures in scoring. |
