ECVA members meet with FIVB President
TIJUANA, Mexico, November 1, 2013 – The NORCECA members of the
Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) met with FIVB
President Dr.
Ary Graça on Friday with the purpose of having a direct exchange
of ideas.
The main topic of the meeting was to give the opportunity to the
National Federations grouped in the zonal entity the opportunity
to express their individual needs and present the possible
solutions to the FIVB president.
“It was a very interesting and positive exchange and the
representatives of each one of our federations had the chance to
give Dr.
Graça a clear idea of their individual situation and also a big
picture of our zone,” ECVA President Glenn Quinlan of St Kitts
and Nevis stated.
The ECVA members also explained Dr. Graça about the support they
have received in recent years to help the promotion and
development of volleyball in the region.
“We discussed all the areas where we have received support from
NORCECA through FIVB and the positive effects of this
endorsement,” Quinlan added.
“We also acknowledged the great strides we have achieved in
recent years and exhorted President Graça to continue supporting
NORCECA for the benefit of all the National Federations under
its umbrella,” Quinlan said.
