SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, May 18, 2022
– Eighteen coaches hailing from Argentina,
Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Spain,
Honduras, México, Panamá, Puerto Rico and
Dominican Republic are taking part in a virtual
Level I Coaches Course organized by the NORCECA/FIVB
Regional Development Center located in Santo
Domingo.
Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, NORCECA President and
FIVB First Executive Vice President,
participated in the opening ceremony pronouncing
encouraging words to the coaches.
Marte Hoffiz explained the objective of the
course, highlighting the opportunity for
developing volleyball in the countries of the
participants teaching the basic aspect of the
game following the fundaments.
Juan Cartagena of Puerto Rico is the director of
the course coordinated by Professor Nelson
Ramirez, director of the Development Center.
