net. El Salvador, on the other hand, handed out 36 points in
unforced errors.
The
Belizean team performed better in attack points (53-49), blocks

with 14, and Evelyn Ramírez with 11.

Belize, Emaun Marín stood out with 20 attack points, followed by

After the win, El Salvador’s Valeria Ayala stated, “We trained a lot
for this event; many of us come from previous national team
processes, but not with a strong foundation. This event will help us
improve that foundation for future national teams. We didn’t get the
results we expected, but everything is part of the process. We know
we have a great future, and we will work hard to reach it.”
Meanwhile, Jaycee Usher of Belize added, “I feel that our
participation in this event could have been better. We fought in
every match to achieve victory; everyone on the team gave their best
in each game, especially in this one against El Salvador. We take
this experience with us, and for future events, we will do better.
We will come back stronger.” |
