Enright scores 24 to lead Puerto Rico over Canada
					
					
					Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, January 10, 2020 – 
					Stephanie Enright scored 24 points to lead three players in 
					double figures as  Puerto Rico claimed a five-set (25-22, 
					22-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12) victory over Canada in the 
					opening match of the NORCECA Women’s Qualification 
					Tournament Tokyo 2020.
					
					
					Daly Santana and Paulina Prieto each added 16 points in the 
					victory as Puerto Rico edged Canada in blocks 11-10 and 
					serving aces 6-5. 
					
					
					Kiera Van Ryk led Canada with 19 points followed by Alexa 
					Gray with 16, while Jennifer Cross and Emily Maglio added 14 
					and 12, respectively.

					It was not our best game for the first three sets, but then 
					we overcame those problems and focused on our quick attacks 
					down the corners to neutralize the tall blockers of Canada 
					and  send us to the

					“We got contributions from all the players. The veteran Aury 
					Cruz came off the bench for some key serves in the fourth 
					set. Our team has good chemistry and is so good to start 
					winning.
					
					
					
					Kiera Van Ryk, player of Canada: 
					“We had a lot of ups and downs during the match. Our biggest 
					problem was we couldn’t establish the blocking. At this 
					level you need to block to win.
