Everything Set for the Start of the Seventh Stop

of the NORCECA Beach Tour in Roatán

ROATÁN, Honduras, July 9, 2026. – Following the preliminary inquiry and official registration of the participating teams, everything is in place for the start of the 2026 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour Seventh Stop, set to take place from July 10 to 12 at the spectacular Tabyana Beach in West Bay, Roatán.

The tournament will feature 30 teams from 13 countries—16 men's teams and 14 women's teams—all looking to earn valuable points in the 2026 NORCECA Beach Tour standings.

In the men's competition, 16 teams from 13 countries have been divided into four pools of four teams each. Defending champions from the sixth stop, Mexico's Inés Antonio Vargas and Carlos Andrés Ayala, return to Roatán aiming to capture another title on Honduran sand.

Pool A features Mexico (Inés Antonio Vargas/Carlos Andrés Ayala), Honduras (Isaac Jafet Méndez/Jonathan Andrés Ortega), Guatemala (Edgar Maldonado/José Miguel Izaguirre), and Trinidad and Tobago (Jahreef Miguel/Jerome Morrison).

Pool B includes the United States (Devin Pérez/Wesley Jensen), Canada (Louis Charbonneau/Henry Heider), Costa Rica (Julián Araya/Stanley Grant), and Bermuda (Benjamín Barnett/Connor Somerville).

Pool C consists of Canada (Guillaume Rivest/Martin Licht), Honduras (Kevin Flores/Juan Menjívar), the Dominican Republic (Hayerling De Jesús/Oscar José Martínez), and the U.S. Virgin Islands (Eric Sommer/Cole Sommer).

Pool D is made up of Puerto Rico (William Rivera/Daniel Rivera), El Salvador (Rafael Vargas/Gabriel Vargas), Honduras (Irvin Armando Reyes/Jairo Jafeth Gálvez), and Nicaragua (Rubén Mora/Jefferson Cascante).

In the women's competition, 14 teams from 12 countries have been divided into two pools of three teams and two pools of four teams. The champions of the sixth stop in Juan Dolio, Americans Shaffer/Bowman, will not compete in Roatán, ensuring the tournament will crown new champions.

Pool A features the United States (Sarah Wood/Taylor Hagenah), the U.S. Virgin Islands (Amber Bennett/T'ara Austin), and Nicaragua (Socorro López/Lolette Rodríguez).

Pool B includes Canada (Emma Cudmore/Dana Roskic), Guatemala (Paola Alvarado/Daphne Mendoza), and Honduras (Nicolle Murillo/Elizabeth Rodríguez).

Pool C features Puerto Rico (María González/Allanis Navas), Honduras (Reizel Bruhier/Sharis Briceño), Costa Rica (María Araya/Eugenia Ramírez), and El Salvador (Gabriela Flores/Adriana Vargas).

Finally, Pool D includes Honduras (Shanna Rivera/Jarisa Hynds), Jamaica (Jillian Johnson/Kristina Lumsden), the Dominican Republic (Crismil Paniagua/Julibeth Payano), and Mexico (Susana Torres/Abril Flores).

Competition gets underway on Friday, July 10, with the men's tournament beginning at 8:30 a.m. (local time). The opening matches will feature Guatemala vs. Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico vs. Honduras, and Costa Rica vs. Bermuda, as part of a 16-match opening day schedule.

The women's tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. (local time) with matches between the U.S. Virgin Islands and Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras, and Costa Rica and El Salvador. A total of 12 women's matches will be played, completing an opening-day schedule of 28 matches across both genders.
