Executive Committee meets ahead of FIVB Congress 

CAGLIARI, Sardinia, October 28, 2014 – FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° chaired a meeting of the FIVB Executive Committee, which launches the FIVB Congress week in Cagliari, Sardinia, on Tuesday.
 
During the meeting, the FIVB Executive Committee reviewed the agenda for the 34th FIVB World Congress, which will take place from October 31-November 1. The working file and the Board of Administration proposals to be submitted to the national federation representatives at the Congress were also reviewed.

The Executive Committee meeting, which took place at the Forte Village Resort near Cagliari, will be followed by a meeting of the FIVB Board of Administration on Wednesday. A Development Workshop involving the national federations will be held on Thursday.

34th FIVB World Congress
The 34th FIVB World Congress, which will take place on Friday and Saturday, will welcome 200 national federations to the Sardinian city of Cagliari. The event will be streamed live, giving members of the volleyball family from around the world the opportunity to learn about the organisation’s activities over the last two years.
