LAUSANNE, Switzerland, March 29, 2017 - The International
Volleyball Federation and logistics services provider DB

Lausanne today, bringing world class logistics solutions to the
international federation's volleyball and beach volleyball
events.
The logistics services provider already supports the FIVB with

These include FIVB top events such as the Volleyball and Beach

The DB Schenker sponsorship was renewed by the FIVB because of
the company's comprehensive experience as service provider for

Paralympic Games, as well as numerous World Championships.
Moreover, the company's sporting pedigree, its experience with
marketing sports properties and potential for generating new
business opportunities fits well with the FIVB's future
direction and goals.

partnership, as we are preparing for several mega-events such as
the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2017 and 2019,
the FIVB Men's and Women's Volleyball World Championships in
2018 and, of course, the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo," said FIVB
President Dr. Ary S. Graça F°.
"Thanks to the well-organized logistics delivered by DB Schenker,
the FIVB has optimised its service, saved time and reduced the
costs for everyone involved."
"As official partner of the FIVB, we look forward to the
challenges that await us when providing the logistics for the
countless national and international events," added Christian
Schultze, Head of DB Schenker sports events. "Volleyball and
beach volleyball are sports for which our enormous experience
will allow us to present global solutions for all logistics
requirements."
