Famous Kerri Walsh Jennings will play in Boca Chica Beach

BOCA CHICA –Kerri Walsh Jennings the most decorated athlete
in the Olympic history of beach volleyball will be the
ultimate attraction of the 2019 NORCECA Final Hamaca
Tournament to be played from Friday to Sunday at the
facilities of the traditional hotel center of this
municipality.
The American who won the gold medals in Athens 2004, Beijing
2008 and London 2012 playing with Misty May Treanor, and won
the bronze in Rio de Janeiro 2016 with April Ross, will
partner with Brooke Sweat, who also participated in the last
Olympic summit.
Earlier this year, Walsh Jennings and Sweat won the Jinjiang
Open in China.
Walsh Jennings, who played in the United States volleyball
team that finished fourth in Sydney 2000, was world champion
alongside May-Treanor in 2003, 2005 and 2007 and runner-up
in 2011.
During his career Walsh Jennings has won 44 gold medals from
the FIVB World Tour, in addition to 12 silver and 9 bronze.
