SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, November 12,
2021 – The President of NORCECA presented a full
report of activities corresponding to the period
2020-21 during the first day of meetings of the
Executive Committee and Board of Administration.
The report by Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz
preceded the reports from each one of the five
Zonal Associations of NORCECA.
Those reports were followed by the Financial
Report made jointly by Mme. Margaret Graham,
president of the Financial Commission, Mme. Olga
Rivas NORCECA Financial Director, Mme. Miguelina
Martinez the Internal Accountant and Wilbur
Harrigan, Treasurer.
Mme. Rivas made a detailed report on the incomes
and expenses of the institution underlining the
success of the marketing of the Women’s Olympic
Qualifier Tournament held in Santo Domingo in
January of 2020.
Mr. Marte Hoffiz took the opportunity to
appreciate the marketing efforts carried out by
Milagros Cabral, the former Dominican player who
was in charge of selling the event held in
Dominican Republic.
Mme. Rivas also presented the budget for 2022 as
well as the investments made by NORCECA in the
Development Plan and the sport equipment
distribution to the national federations and the
zonal associations.
The Financial Report received the approval from
all the members of the Executive Committee and
Board of Administration. |
