Five in a row for Caguas in Puerto Rico 

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, May 13, 2019 – The Criollas de Caguas won their fifth consecutive title in the Puerto Rican Women’s Volleyball Superior League on Monday night at Roberto Clemente Coliseum.

The 13th crown of Caguas in the history of the league came after a 3-1 (27-25, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21) victory over Changas de Naranjito.

Oneida González was the best scorer for Caguas with 19 points, followed by Karina Ocasio and Pilar Marie Victoriá each with 16 points.

Noami Santos was the best for Naranjito with 25 points.

The libero player Shara Venegas of Caguas was selected as the most valuable player of the final series.
