France defeats Cuba in Men’s VNL

ORLEANS, France, June 23, 2023.- The home team France defeated Cuba 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-20) on week 2 of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League in Orleans, France.

Cuba is 1-6 and on Saturday they will face NORCECA opponent Canada 2-5 once again in this years’ edition of VNL.

Both France and Cuba scored on 32 kills and four aces. Cuba led in blocks (eight to five) but benefited France with their huge number of unforced errors (34-14).

Outside hitter Miguel Angel López led Cuba with 12 points on nine kills and three aces and outside hitter Marlon Yant contributed with 10 points on seven kills and three blocks. Middle blocker Javier Concepción added 8 points.
