Great expectations as the U21 WCH gets closer

 

   

TIJUANA and MEXICALI, Mexico, Agosto 28, 2015 - A great expectation atmosphere is felt as the FIVB Mens U21 World Championship gets closer.

 

The competition is scheduled to begin on September 11. Mexico, the host team will play against Egypt. “It is going to be a very important match as well as the one against Canada. Both commitments are key to our aspirations,” said coach Eduardo Murguia.

 

After eight years of making his coaching debut, Murguia receives the opportunity to be in charge of a national team. The Mexicans will play their second match of the championship against China on September 12. A day later, will match Canada, their Norceca neighbor and rival.

 

Some of the youngsters that have already reported to training camp have beeen part of the previous world championships process, when the U19 tournament was played in Tijuana and Mexicali two years ago. They are back in town for this new experience as part of the U21 unit.

 

Alan Gabriel Martínez, Sebastian Castro, Luis Gerardo Bojórquez, Enrique Ugalde, Miguel Chavez, Joshua Omar Martínez, Christian Aranda y Ridl Alexis Garay, were part of the process that took place between 2012 and 2013.

 

Some others like Bruno Cruz were part of the U19 roster that played in Argentina. Cruz was one of the best weapons of the Mexican team along with Garay.

 

The National host delegation is also composted by first assistant Vicente Vazquez, and José Manzano, the second assitant.

 

Carlos Harris is the Team Doctor and Ana María Perez Plascencia is the Physical Therapist. Jorge Romero will serve as Statistician and Javier Orozco y the Physical Trainter, while Aldo Gomez Rioz has been assigned as Team Manager.
