BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, December 12, 2015 - Guadeloupe won the
fifth position at the CAZOVA Junior Championships with a 25-18,
25-16, 25-20 blow out of the United States Virgin Islands at the
Wildey Gymnasium, Bridgetown.
With a match high 17 points from Jean Francois Ruffe and 13 from
the consistent Marvin Cancan Guadeloupe overturned the similar
straight sets defeat which they had suffered at the hands of
USVI in Game Two of the preliminaries in Group A.
Miguel Lopez battled strong for 10 points but without the
adequate support the team had to settle for the sixth spot.
