GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, March 7, 2015 – Thirty-three
Guatemalan national coaches –including 10 women- are taking part
in the FIVB Coaches Course Level One under the Volleyball
Cooperation Program (VCP).
The course which runs from March 3-12 is supported by the
International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) in collaboration with
the NORCECA Confederation and its development plan in the
region.
The course is supervised by FIVB Instructor Ruben Sainz
Rodriguez of Cuba with assistance from local technical
personnel.
“The course is a complete success,” says Enrique Santis,
president of the Guatemalan Volleyball Federation. “Most of the
participants are young people with a lot of interest and desire
to take advantage of the opportunity of having the course in
their country.”
“For the National Federation of Guatemala it is of great
relevance to have this course as we will be able to complete the
professionalization of our national technical staff,” he added.
Santis expressed his gratitude to FIVB and its Development and
