Haitian team trains in Santo Domingo

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, August 4, 2018 – The Haiti Men’s Volleyball National Team spent several days training and playing in the Dominican Republic in preparation for the CAZOVA Championship to be played in Suriname.

The NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in the Dominican Republic organized a four-game friendly series against de U21 Dominican Team reinforced with players from the senior training team.

Besides the friendly series, the Haitian team held two daily training sessions at the facilities of the volleyball complex recently refurbished as the training base for the teams that participated in the women’s Pan American Cup.

The training base in Santo Domingo was coordinated by Margareth Graham, president of the Haitian Volleyball Federation, and Nelson Ramírez, director of the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center.
