Hernandez and Gaspar to continue as head coaches in Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, December 18, 2017 – Coaches Ramon Hernandez and Javier Gaspar both have been confirmed to continue at the helm of men’s and women’s Puerto Rican National Volleyball teams.

Dr. Cesar Trabanco, president of Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation made the announcement following meetings with both national coaches who took their jobs earlier this year.

Dr. Trabanco informed the rest of the staffs for both national teams will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Puerto Rico qualified both teams toward the 2018 FIVB World Championship and they will participate in the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia and their respective Pan American Cups.

“After single meetings with Gaspar and Monchito we can inform that all the options for next year and all the existing alternatives,” Trabanco said.
