High expectations are set as the commission meetings are ready to begin in Baja California

TIJUANA, Mexico, January 9, 2015.- After the arrival of Norceca President, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, the expectations for the beginning of the activities at the Commission Meetings are high.

“Thank you for receiving us here and one more time, this is the second one we will celebrate one of the Sports Organization meetings in Baja California,” said Marte Hoffiz.

“The first time we had some activities here was during an executive meeting (in 2012) and now for the first time we have the full meeting of this commission that is the main column of our confederation,” He stated.

Along with the Sports Organization Commission, the Beach Volleyball’s will take place next week to be the second one in order. “Beach Volleyball has increased its activities within the Norceca region permanently and that is also important,” He added.

When talking about the sports organization area this one plays a very important role. “All the things that are planned as well as the events take part here, and we have updated our calendar and programming”, he exposed.

The National Federations Direction has contributed to this planning activities, Marte remarked. Also the Development Commission will also work in Tijuana, once the Sports Organization and Beach Volleyball Commissions finish their work.

Marte Hoffiz also remarked the good things and the advantage of having two development centers. One located in the Caribbean area and the other one in Mexico’s Northwestern region.

Fortunately, He emphasized, “we count on with a second center in Tijuana along with the one located in Santo Domingo, both are certified by Norceca and the FIVB.”

Courses and seminars are transcendental. “We will have very important works at the Tijuana Center that are usually done every year when we host the meetings,” He added.

Marte Hoffiz held a meeting with the Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute authorities. The regional ministry will work as host committee of the commission meetings that will take part starting January 10 and will finish the 17th.

The host hotel is the Grand Hotel Tijuana, while the seminar activities will be developed at the FIVB-Norceca Development Center, located inside the Baja California High Performance Center in Otay Mesa.
