INTERVIEWS
David Villatoro, outside
hitter of Honduras:
“The match was highly contested. We knew that El Salvador was a very
strong opponent. Thankfully, things went our way to secure the result,
and both teams put in great effort. We're happy to obtain this victory
for our country”.
Juan Carlos Vargas, setter
of El Salvador:
“Honduras is a worthy team that stood their ground with the
determination they are known for. They played a smart game, and we
adapted to their style of play, which ended up costing us. They defeated
us in three sets. We tried a couple of variations, even in the third
set, and still couldn't overcome them. Our spirits are high, as we have
two more days of competition against strong teams. We’re aiming for the
medals; the competition is still ongoing”. |
