to do, how to fight and play hard. "
Osiel Vasquez, coach of Honduras: "Satisfied with the work of
the girls, they did everything we set out to do in the pre-match
meeting. They played very well, excellent, we knew we could win
the game in three sets, we instilled it several times and the
girls responded."
"There is a problem in Central America, they have a lot of
respect for Costa Rica or Nicaragua and we are working on that
basis with these new generations to get Honduras to be at the
top of the region."
María Belén Arcia, captain of Nicaragua: "Yesterday's match
(against the United States) we took as a warm up because we did
not have much preparation, obviously for today the goal was to
win, but it was not possible. We were affected by the attitude,
that's something that we always have to improve."
Claudia Noguera, coach of Nicaragua: "Honduras dominated
completely from the beginning, they concentrated more, and it
was something that we talked with the girls, that if they wanted
to do a good job they had to concentrate. In this game we made
many errors in reception and that did not allow to create attack
plays. " |
