MEXICALI, Mexico, May 23, 2016 - Hugh McCutcheon, who coached
Men’s and Women’s USA Volleyball teams at the Olympic Games of
Beijing 2008 and London 2012 will direct an International Clinic
in Mexicali, Mexico.
The clinic is scheduled to begin on Tuesday at the Cetys
University Campus in coordination with the United States General
Consulate Office in Tijuana and with the collaboration of the
Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute.
The Clinic will be free of charge to volleyball coaches of Baja
California.
For almost four hours the attendants will have the chance to
improve their knowledge and exchange experiences with the coach
born in New Zealand who led the Men’s team that conquered the
Olympic Gold Medal in 2008.
That same year the Americans won the FIVB World League and
McCutcheon was distinguished as Head Coach of the Year in the
United States.
Four years later he guided the Women’s USA National team to a
Silver Medal at the London 2012 Games before taking control of
the University of Minnesota Gophers. |
