Kacey Jost Named MVP of the 2026 NORCECA Women’s
Continental Championship
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, August 26,
2026.- Canada’s libero Kacey Jost was named Most
Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2026 NORCECA
Women’s Continental Championship, which
concluded Wednesday at the “Prof. Ricardo
Gioriver Arias” Volleyball Palace in Santo
Domingo, Dominican Republic. Jost received the
top individual honor after helping Canada
capture its first gold medal in the history of
the NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship.
Simone Lee of the United States earned First
Best Spiker honors, while Puerto Rico’s Decelise
Champion was selected Second Best Spiker and
Best Scorer. The Dominican Republic’s Geraldine
Gonzalez was recognized as First Best Blocker,
while Chiaka Ogbogu of the United States
received Second Best Blocker honors.

Puerto Rico Secures Semifinal Berth After Five-Set Victory Over
Guatemala
PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 26, 2026.-
Puerto Rico secured its spot in the semifinals of the NORCECA Men’s
Final Six after defeating Guatemala in five sets on Wednesday at the
Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium. The set scores were 20-25, 25-22,
25-18, 19-25, 15-7. Puerto Rico improved its record to 3-1, while
Guatemala dropped to 0-4. Jair Santiago led Puerto Rico’s offense
with 24 points, followed by Antonio Feliciano with 16 and Klistan
Lawrence with 15..
