International Beach Course in Santo Domingo

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, October 6, 2019 – An International Beach Volleyball Coaches Course began in Santo Domingo on Sunday morning under the direction of Mauro Hernandez of Venezuela.

The course began on Sunday 6 and runs until Thursday 10 with practical and theoretical instructions.

The participants of the course hail from Argentina, Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti,  Panama, Puerto Rico, Spain, Ukraine and Venezuela.

The opening ceremony had Amos Anglade and Indhira Ramírez in attendance. Anglade is the beach director of the Dominican Volleyball Federation and Indhira Ramirez, director of beach volleyball in NORCECA who represented Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA.

Anglade pronounced the welcoming words to the participants and Ramírez commented on the consistent number of activities by the Regional Development Center in the Dominican Republic under the direction of Nelson Ramírez.

She also highlighted the importance of the course for the development of beach volleyball within NORCECA Confederation and the good moment the sport is going through nowadays.
