International Beach Volleyball Course to begin in Tijuana
TIJUANA, Mexico, July 18, 2017 – Brazilian instructor Magda
Falcao has been appointed by the International Volleyball
Federation to direct the Level II Beach Volleyball Course that
will take place at the FIVB-Norceca Regional Development Centre
from July 19 thru 26.
This will be the second time for Falcao as director of an
international course in Baja California Mexico. Previously the
former player and mentor of South American high caliber athletes
directed the first seminar for Beach Volleyball coaches in 2011
with attendants from several countries from Europe and the
Americas.
The course that begins this week in Mexico will be directed to a
group of 15 participants, according to the Centre authorities.
“This is our second course in less than one month,” said Alberto
Arreola, Operations Director.
“We hosted a continental seminar in June that was focused in the
work with trainers and physical therapists.”
Coaches from Colombia, Cuba and Mexico are expected to attend.
Falcao is a coach and instructor with a very high prestige in
Brazilian beach volley after working very close with World
Championship and Olympic medal winners such as Juliana
Felisberta and Larissa França, who reached the podium in London
2012. |
