International Level I Course For Volleyball Coaches begins in Mexico

 

TIJUANA, Mexico, September 22, 2017 - The International Level I Course for Volleyball Coaches was officially inaugurated at the FIVB-Norceca Regional Development Center.

 

Authorities of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute (INDE) as well as representatives of the North, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) were present at the opening ceremony.

 

This course, which includes both theoretical and practical phases in classroom and court, is directer by  Alejandro Arconada of Argentina, who was accompanied during the ceremony by former olympic Mexican and Baja California Sports and Physical Culture Institute Special Projects Coordinator Cesar Osuna, who gave a message on behalf of INDE’s General Director, Saul Castro Verdugo.

 

Development Center Training and Operations Coordinator, Jacqueline Montes was also present to explain some details about the course that began on Friday and will end next week.

 

Attendees from Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba and Mexico as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands have met in Tijuana for this activity  that has important points and subjects that go from the mini volleyball, the promotion and masificación of the discipline as well as the way to high performance.
