TIJUANA, Mexico, May 19, 2015 - The International Level I
Seminar for Coaches concluded successfully at the Baja
California High Performance Center.
Argelio Hernandez, Director of the Course, appreciated the
support for these type of the events by the FIVB-Norceca
Development Center and the Baja California Sports and Physical
Culture Institute authorities.
During the closing ceremony, Alberto Arreola Sanchez, the
coordinator of the center congratulated the participants who
showed a great progress during the 13-day course.
On behalf ot the attendants, the Baja California women’s
volleyball coach Estanislao Matias Vachino thanked the
instructors for their availability and the way they shared all
their knowledge and experiences.
“It has been a great experience for all of us, and hopefully
Baja California and Mexican volleyball can improve their
quality,” Vachino said.
International instructor Humberto Rodriguez Carmona also
contributed to the success of the seminar.
“To work with Professor Hernandez has been such a great
experience. He is a very well skilled person and a great
instructor,” Rodriguez Carmona said.
The coaches took practical and theoretical tests. In the final
exam, the best notes were awarded by Jorge Romero, who has
coached the Baja California youth teams and also has contributed
with the national teams as statistician.
Among the participants of seminar, was Jose Luis Martell, who
played in the European Leagues and also with the Mexican
National team before starting a coaching career. Many of the
attendants went to participate at the National Junior Olympic
Championships in Monterrey, Mexico. |
