International coaches course begins in Costa Rica

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, October 20, 2014 – A Level I Coaches Course jointly organised by the Costa Rica Volleyball Federation together with the Dominican Republic Regional Development Volleyball Center is currently being held in San Jose, Costa Rica.

In all there are 23 participants comprising four women and 19 men from El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica.

The course is being led by FIVB Instructor Mr. Juan Cartagena, who will hold theoretical and practical classes as well as participants’ evaluations.

Mr. José Luis Jiménez Lao (President of the Costa Rica Volleyball Federation), Mrs. Marcela Marcela Urbina (Course Coordinator) and Mr.  Carlomagno Sáenz (Level III Coach) were all present at the opening ceremony.
