JaVA plays big role in expanding sport in the country
KINGSTON, Jamaica, February 19, 2018 –Jamaica continues to put
in practice an aggressive program of volleyball throughout all
the schools of the country.
The Jamaica Volleyball Association is keeping its plans of
having more children being exposed to and playing vollkyball.
They recently completed the National Under 13 Finals held on
February 9 at GC College of Physical Education and Sports.
Lyssons Primary School from the parish of St Thomas, a
three-time champion in the past, regained their crown after
defeating the defending champions, New Works Primary School.
The finals culminated three months of competition, whereby 60
schools participated. Additionally, workshops were held with the
coaches of the schools. |
