Juan Dolio Gears Up for the Final Stage of the 2025 NORCECA Tour

JUAN DOLIO, Dominican Republic, December 8, 2025.– The excitement of continental beach volleyball reaches its peak with the Final Stage and eleventh stop of the 2025 NORCECA Tour, set to take place from December 12 to 14 in the picturesque sands of Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic.

The final stage of the 2025 NORCECA Tour promises three days of high-level competition, with teams aiming not only for the podium but also to secure their spot at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, which will feature a minimum of twelve teams per gender.

A total of 16 teams per gender from 17 countries have registered for the event, with official participation to be confirmed during the preliminary meeting on Thursday, December 11, one day before the start of competition.

In the women’s field, the outstanding season of Puerto Ricans María González and Allanis Navas stands out, as they arrive as the top favorites after winning seven gold medals and one bronze during the 2025 campaign.

Mexico’s Susana Torres and Atenas Gutiérrez will also be in the hunt, boasting an impressive tally of one gold, five silver medals, and one bronze, while aiming to reach their seventh final of the year.

From the United States, the duo of Geena Urango and Megan Rice, silver medalists in Punta Cana, return with podium aspirations. Canada will feature Marie-Alex Bélanger and Lea Monkhouse, who recently qualified for the World Championship during the NORCECA Qualifying Tournament.

In the men’s division, Mexico’s Inés Vargas and Carlos Andrés Ayala remain among the favorites after earning gold in Puerto Cortés, silver in Suriname, and bronze in both Punta Cana and the previous Juan Dolio stop. They also added a U21 World Championship bronze medal this year in Puebla.

Costa Rica will be represented by Julián Araya and Jhostin Varela, bronze medalists in both El Salvador and Manzanillo.

For the United States, Evan Cory and Derek Bradford, champions in Guadalajara, will also seek a podium finish. Cuba will present Damián Gómez and Eblis Veranes, who have enjoyed a solid year with a silver in Punta Cana and bronze medals in Guadalajara and Varadero.

Puerto Rico will compete with the duo Encarnación/Rosich, owners of a silver medal, while Kevin Rosich arrives as the champion of the Tamaulipas stage.

El Salvador’s Christopher and Yoel Guardado come in strong after winning the gold medal just two weeks ago at the Managua stop.

Canada will feature the experienced Samuel Schachter, alongside Jonathan Pickett, bronze medalists at the NORCECA Qualifying Tournament for the 2025 World Championship.
