Juan Dolio to Host Back-to-Back Beach Volleyball Events
JUAN DOLIO, Dominican Republic, May 12, 2025.- Juan Dolio beach, in
the Dominican Republic, is set to become the epicenter of
continental beach volleyball this May, hosting two NORCECA
competitions back-to-back.
From May 15 to 19, Juan Dolio will welcome the second stage of the
2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, with a pre-registration of 17
women’s teams and 19 men’s teams from across North, Central America,
and the Caribbean.
The NORCECA circuit awards crucial points toward the NORCECA
continental rankings and the FIVB world rankings and serves, this
year, as the official start of the qualification process for the
2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, set to take place in
Santo Domingo.
Following the NORCECA Tour stop, the action continues with the U23
NORCECA Beach Volleyball Event scheduled for May 22 to 26. This
developmental tournament has 11 women’s teams and 14 men’s teams
already pre-registered and will serve as an important preparatory
platform for athletes that will compete at the 2025 Junior Pan
American Games in Asunción, Paraguay.
Juan Dolio’s back-to-back hosting reflects the Dominican Republic’s
continued commitment to the growth and visibility of beach
volleyball in the region. Both events are expected to draw top
emerging and established talent, offering athletes vital
opportunities to gain ranking points and international experience. |
