Last ticket to the U20 World Championship to be played in Lima
LIMA, Peru, May 10, 2019 - Everything is ready for next Monday,
May 13 to start the V Edition of the U20 Women's Volleyball
Pan-American Cup, an event that will take place at the Manuel
Bonilla Coliseum in Miraflores, known as the 'House of Peruvian
Volleyball”.
Seven delegations will meet in the Pan-American competition and
only one will take the place to the U20 Volleyball World
Championship that will be held from July 12 to 21 in León
Guanajuato & Aguas Calientes in Mexico.
The host, Peru, and Dominican Republic arrive with the secure
classification, thanks to their current location in the Ranking
of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the direct
dispute will be between: Chile, Cuba, Guatemala, Honduras and
Puerto Rico.
"I feel highly honored to share the table with Natalia Málaga, a
person who exalts world volleyball. I am also grateful for the
support that the Peruvian Federation, led by Mrs. Pilar
Gonzales, is giving us at all levels for the organization of
volleyball events both last year and this 2019,"said the
president of NORCECA, Cristóbal Marte. Hoffiz during the
presentation of the U20 Pan American Cup that was attended by
the local team that will be coached by the Peruvian Olympic
medalist Natalia Málaga.
Similarly, the highest representative of NORCECA stressed that
prior to the celebration of the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima,
the Inca nation will host the 18th Pan American Women's Senior
Cup in July, where the 12 best teams will see action from all
America.
The matches of the U20 Pan American Cup will be broadcast on the
Norceca TV page.
The groups were divided into:
Group A:
Chile, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
Group B:
Peru, Cuba, Guatemala and Honduras.
