Let the volleyball action begin
Phillipsburg, Sint Maarten Friday 5th August 2016:
With the Olympic opening ceremony taking place in Brazil,
Anguilla, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and host St.
Maarten, will clash in round one of the Group A leg of the
FIVB, Word Cup qualifiers. There is plenty at stake as the top
two teams advance to the second round of the World Cup
Qualifiers. The young high fliers of the teams will test the
defenses of their opposition and the resilience of their
defenses.
Team Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands are eager to display
their new look, as they come with a mixture of youth and
experience. Anguilla, sporting a similar blend will also throw
its hat in the ring for the honors of advancing. However, host
country St. Maarten, will probably be the favourite to take the
title.
The thundering slams and brilliant digs will keep the viewing
audience of St. Maarten glued to the auditorium as this
tournament promises to be very exciting event.
